Nerina Pool

Nerina is the result of a renovation project of the exterior of a modern country villa. The challenge was to create an above-ground pool on a natural slope, without creating expensive reinforced concrete works. With the client we therefore studied a configuration that would fit harmoniously into the existing garden, connecting to the outbuilding with sauna and hot tub and to the pergola near the kitchen. A long black wall in which the waterfall is inserted and a LED strip to illuminate the entrance area with ladder create a scenic backdrop. The other sides of the pool are made of alternating wooden platforms and white gravel that act as passage and rest areas and house the technical rooms of the pool in the rooms below.
